Meet Harrisonburg's Monisha Khanna, DDS

Dr. Khanna is originally from Edison, NJ, and she’s proud to now be serving the wonderful patients here in Harrisonburg! She attended the State University of New York at Buffalo for both her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. Additionally, she underwent a General Practice Residency at Carilion Clinic Dental Care, where she focused on patients who were currently undergoing radiation treatment, joint replacement, and other systemic conditions. As a result, Dr. Khanna gained valuable experience working with a wide variety of health backgrounds, as well as with children. Today, she has completed 225 hours of AGD-approved continuing education courses.

Dr. Khanna’s favorite thing about her job is being able to treat someone immediately and impact their life! Dentistry is a special branch of medicine where a patient’s pain or distress can be corrected in record time. She is proud to not only improve a patient’s overall health, but also their sense of self-confidence and self-esteem.

She is currently a member of the following associations:

Dr. Khanna comes from a very close-knit family that includes her parents, her younger brother and many, many cousins. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, biking, being outdoors, traveling and scuba diving. Together with her husband, Dr. DeNicola, she has swam with whale sharks! Both Dr. DeNicola and Dr. Khanna have a passion for trying different cuisines, so if you have food/restaurant recommendations, please share them at your next visit!
